While on a video chat, Penny asks Gumball to help them settle an argument over whether her family are in or out of their shells. After much debating, Patrick and Penny tell a story about whether they should or shouldn't be in their shells. So Patrick asks Gumball to settle the argument and he tells story after story to try and make them change their mind.
