Elmore suddenly loses its color and turns black and white. As the town descends into chaos, Gumball and Darwin venture out to look for the source and save Elmore by getting all the colors back which turns out to be Alan who has lost faith in humanity and causing all the colors turned into black and white. The two convince him that while life is imperfect we must do our best to make the world a better place.
