Uniqua, Pablo, Tyrone, and Austin are taking part in a skateboarding competition. Tyrone is new to the sport and is unsure of his abilities. After his skateboard breaks, he finds a magic skateboard in a cave and begins boarding better than he ever has. He wants to use it in the competition, but learns that his skills matter more than winning.
