Description

Episode 1The Maxx, a homeless man in a purple superhero costume, attempts to rescue a theater patron from a pair of thugs. However, the police appear quickly and arrest him. The thugs meanwhile escape, and their victim is assaulted by Mr. Gone, a shadowy figure in a black cape. Julie Winters, the Maxx's freelance social worker, bails him out of prison. Meanwhile, Maxx's hallucinatory adventures in the outback are briefly touched on.
