Smithers is disheartened by Mr. Burns' lack of reciprocal feelings, so Homer encourages him to start a relationship with famous fashion designer Michael de Graaf. Michael loves that Smithers is not interested in him for his fashion ties, but what Smithers does not know is that his new boyfriend is a lot more like Mr. Burns than he initially seems.
