Using Maha's information network, Lugh decides to investigate the count by himself and determine whether or not the target truly deserves assassination. Lugh and Tarte visit Pisear, the second-largest merchant town in the kingdom, and take down a criminal group selling vizein, but not before seeing the effects of the drug on a poor girl's mother...
