On their way back to Dog City and the Thunderkittens, the five adult Thundercats meet a Wolo named Ponzi, who offers them a "miracle elixir" that he promises will solve all their problems. Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra resurrects an ancient creature for use as a new body, intending to use it to destroy the Thundercats. When he attacks them, Lion-O accidentally breaks the bottle of elixir, which temporarily disables Mumm-Ra's new form. Realizing its potential, the five chase after Ponzi to get more, but inadvertently cause his cart to have an accident, wiping out the rest of his supply. The team agrees to help him make more, which will require the leaves of a certain tree. Complications arise though when Ponzi's caterpillar-like pet Lucy devours all the leaves, forcing the team to face Mumm-Ra on their own once again...
