In the Battle Nexus, the Turtles fight other warriors from different dimensions in an attempt to become the Battle Nexus Champion. Leonardo teams up with the anthropomorphic rabbit ronin, Miyamoto Usagi, to fight off would-be contract killing assassins before the tournament started. During round one Donatello is knocked out while the other three turtles and Splinter advance. During round two, Raphael defeats his Triceration ally Traximus, Splinter forfeits to allow Michaelangelo to advance, and Leo is hit by a poison dart shot by the Ultimate Ninja while fighting Usagi.
