Michael and Guin remain skeptical that "Dianna" is who she claims to be, but Lily embraces the charade to boost the Moonrace technicians' morale. Sochie grieves for Gavane. Joseph and Fran are revealed to be dating. Cancer and Muron board the Willgem as it departs, wanting to take the nukes to prevent the Militia from using them against the Moonrace; Guin takes "Dianna" hostage to bluff them. Loran defeats Muron and "Dianna" persuades Cancer to leave peacefully.
