Joining forces, Montmorency and Jeanne succeed in defeating Enlil, sending him back into his dimensional prison. While Jeanne is still exhausted from the battle, the phantom of the last Duke of Burgundy once again tries to pursue Philippe to kill Jeanne; at that point, Philippe begs Glasdale to kill her before being subjugated again by the Saint Grail's thirst for blood, but the knight forcefully removes the relic from her, saving Philippe from her curse of being the Black Ulysses (later it will be revealed that the helmet has not been destroyed, however Philippe has no stamina to follow the ghost's voice)...
