J.B. is sent to fight the Red Python, which malfunctions mid-battle. Dr. Poindexter has an extra retroformer which they use to bring Kaitlin back to normal. Meanwhile, Amy goes to the dojo for help and passes out. She transforms into the Red Python and is sent to destroy the Troopers. At the lab it is discovered that Amy is the Red Python and in danger of self-destructing if engaged in another battle. J.B. meets again with the Red Python who collapses and changes back to Amy. She is taken to the lab where the professor reverses the brainwashing. She is grateful to the VR Troopers and her new friends, unaware they are one and the same.
