Professor Inukai explains to Yui that I.R. he confused her with Haruna and apologized for involving her. Yui, albeit stunned and very sad at the thought of leaving the Virtuals, willingly hands over ComCon and her role to her friend. Haruna is led by I.R. inside her ComNet, where she gets to know the other Virtuals and continues the fight started by Yui, proving to be much more efficient than her; all the Virtuals agree to cooperate, except Synchro, who only trusts Yui. Giganet's goals also change: now her first goal is to eliminate Haruna, who she made Virtual only to bring her to ComNet and be able to delete her. Meanwhile, Yui discovers that she cannot bear the distance from the Virtuals, who have now become her closest friends, and Professor Inukai, understanding her feelings about her, gives her his ComCon, allowing her to go back online.
